We’re pleased to announce that the next speaker in our NIHR Distinguished Seminar Series will be Jason Gill, Professor of Cardiometabolic Health (Cardiovascular & Metabolic Health).

Prof Gill leads a multidisciplinary research group investigating how exercise and diet affect the prevention and management of vascular and metabolic diseases, and has held leading roles with the British Association of Sport and Exercise Sciences (BASES) and Scottish Intercollegiate Guidelines Network (SIGN) guideline development groups for obesity and cardiovascular disease prevention.

He is Director of the MSc programme in Sport and Exercise Science & Medicine and actively communicates research on physical activity, diet, obesity, and cardio-metabolic risk through public events and TV documentaries.

This will be a hybrid event, with attendance available in person at the RILD Lecture Theatre and online. Please save the date and time — registration details will be shared in due course.
