Ruben joined the NIHR Exeter BRC in July 2025, having moved from the University of Leeds where he led the Health Economics cross cutting theme at the NIHR Leeds BRC. He is currently working in research translation of new Biomarker tests for early breast cancer through funding from Innovate UK. Ruben is part of Cross BRC investigators that organised the research and policy seminar on the Use of Polygenic Risk Scores in the clinical management in January 2025. Ruben is also interested in leveraging the use of biomarkers in econometric research to evaluate the impact of multiple long term conditions and their management on patient health and economic outcomes.
