Jane is a Consultant Geriatrician at the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Trust and a Senior Clinical Research Fellow with an interest in applied epidemiology of ageing. She holds an NIHR Advanced Fellowship focussed on cardiovascular frailty and leads a work package for the MRC funded GEMINI research collaborative examining shared genetic pathways in multiple long-term conditions.
Jane is Ageing and Multiple Long-Term Conditions lead for the South West Peninsula Clinical Research Network and sits on the National Ageing Specialty Operations and Development Group.
She is an active member of the BRC rehabilitation theme. She is leading a BRC-funded project on cardiovascular disease in the context of multiple long-term conditions and frailty. Through this project the BRC will support the development of the pipeline for interoperable secondary healthcare data research between the NHS and University of Exeter.
