Katy supports the day to day running of VSimulators, a facility used by the Exeter Biomedical Research Centre in its rehabilitation research helping patient groups including people with Parkinson’s, stroke, Meniere’s Disease, chronic ankle instability and older adults with concerns about falling.

Her role includes managing the administration, finance and marketing functions of the facility, with duties encompassing promotion of the facility’s activities through managing the websites and social media sites and supporting the creation and distribution of press releases. Katy also liaises with researchers in Health and Life Sciences to help them book in to use the facility, manages the facility’s budget, organises meetings, events, and visits, and provides logistical, purchasing and travel support for her team.
