Laura is a research consultant at the MRC Centre for Medical Mycology at the University of Exeter and a Paediatric Infectious Diseases consultant at St. George´s University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in London.

She is a member of the European Paediatric Mycology Network (EPMyN) board and the deputy lead of the Fungal Infection Scientific Content Area within PENTA Child Health and part of the Paediatric group on Invasive Fungal Infections (Spanish Society of Paediatric Infectious Disease).
