Nick is a Senior Investigator Fellow and Consultant Gastroenterologist at the Royal Devon and Exeter NHS Foundation Trust. He is Honorary Clinical Senior Lecturer at the University of Exeter where he is a member of the IBD pharmacogenetics research group.
Nick has an interest in understanding treatment response in Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis and has played a leading role in design and analysis in the personalised anti-TNF therapy in Crohn’s disease (PANTS) and Impact of Biologic and Immunomodulatory Therapy on SARS-CoV-2 Infection and Immunity in Patients with Inflammatory Bowel Disease (CLARITY IBD) cohorts.
