Timothy runs an extensive research portfolio in MS, Dystonia and Huntington's Disease. He is Consultant Neurologist at the Royal Devon and Exeter NHS Foundation Trust and a visiting neurologist at North Devon District Hospital. His specialist areas of interest in neurology include:
Headache (including botulinum toxin injections for chronic migraine)
Multiple Sclerosis
Dystonia
Huntington’s Disease
Spasticity
His teaching at all levels from patients, scholars, students, nurses, trainees and peers is embedded in daily activities and has been recognised with a teaching excellence award from the University of Exeter Medical where he holds a Senior Clinical Lectureship post and is the Clinical Lead for Physiology.
Tim is an Associate Professor at the University of Exeter Medical School, Neuro-Degeneration Speciality Lead NIHR South West and an Exeter BRC Senior Investigator Fellow.
